We are ready to provide funding if your company generates sufficient cash to be able to meet the profit and interest obligations. We ask full transparency from our business partners in all processes of funding application and during the loan term. You also take advantage of our extensive knowledge and business network.
We offer financing facilities in three sets of options:
In Debt Financing scheme, we grant loans with a term of 1 to 3 years. The loan and interest repayments can be made in instalments. The frequency, numbers and amounts of the instalments are decided by mutual agreement. Once the loan agreement is signed, a certain amount of payment for one-off costs has to be made. In some cases, we may ask for additional collaterals/guarantees for the loan.
In Equity Financing scheme, we provide private equity for enterprises that seek to raise capital. We buy shares in your company with an exit plan. We remain as a shareholder of your company for a certain period during which we receive dividends according to the terms and conditions agreed in the exit plan.
You can also benefit from our Hybrid Financing scheme combining equity and debt funding options. We are ready to work together to find out the right form of financing for your business.
You are eligible to get funding from FINVEST if your project is executed by a legal business entity (i.e. company, foundation) and you have at least one-year experience as an entrepreneur. FINVEST does not provide funding to any project that may cause harm to the environment, society and humanity.
Our Funding Solutions
We offer the following funding solutions:
Trade Finance
Through Trade Finance facility, FINVEST finances purchasing the products that the clients need in order to expand their trade and business volume. We design a bespoke plan and schedule for repayment in accordance with our partner’s conditions and cash flow.
Bridge Loans
FINVEST helps companies to meet their short-term financial liabilities. Our Bridge Loans provide the required funding to enable the companies to continue their operations smoothly. Our bridge loans allow the borrowing company to finance the maturity mismatch between its receivables and payments.
Profit-Sharing Scheme
FINVEST increases the commercial power and storage capacity of partner companies via Profit Sharing Scheme. We help our clients to outsource their supply of products when their storage is under capacity. We directly purchase products for our clients, and in return, we share the profit they make through the sales of these products.
Real Estate Support Loans
FINVEST provides Real Estate Support Loans to companies wishing to purchase new properties for business purposes. Rather than financing the total price of a target property, these loans are usually intended to facilitate the down payments and transaction cost payments of a purchase agreement. The borrowing company pays back the loan and interest in a reasonable schedule agreed with FINVEST.
Merger & Acquisition (M&A) Finance
FINVEST can be a funding partner if you have the ambition to expand your businesses through merge and acquisition. We prefer to finance M&A transactions for the companies that operate in the same or relevant industries. In deciding whether to fund an M&A proposal or not, we particularly consider the acquirer/merger and target company’s background and financial performance at least for the last three years. We finance a project either with debt financing, equity financing or with a hybrid solution.
Project Finance
FINVEST offers Project Finance to enterprises that run business in different industries, no matter they are a new venture or an established company or they are operating at the local, national or international level. The offer can be adapted in line with entrepreneurs’ need for funding to expand, to stabilize, to restructure or to diversify their business. The scale, period and terms of financing of each project are determined and designed with an open and sincere dialogue with our clients. For FINVEST, financing a project means building a reliable partnership. The scope and duration of our partnerships vary depending on the specificities and prospects of each project we would support. We fund a project either through debt financing and/or equity financing.
Private Equity
FINVEST provides additional capital to companies that have been operating at least for five years and that seek to improve performance and profitability. We usually purchase less than %50 of the shares with an exit plan of up to 7 years. The partner company pays dividends to FINVEST throughout the partnership period. In line with the exit plan, the existing shareholders of the partner company have the priority to buy back the shares that FINVEST cashes out.
Venture Capital
FINVEST supports promising start-ups to succeed and scale-ups to keep progressing. We build partnerships for smart business projects that have real growth potential and a vision to positively contribute to society, environment and technology. We provide funding to finance their development at different stages of growth. We also support their decision-making to meet better the management, operational and logistical challenges they face as they grow. FINVEST designs a roadmap for each venture capital partnership with an exit plan of up to 5 years.
How You Apply for Funding
The application for funding is practical and straightforward at FINVEST. We quickly and efficiently analyze the proposed projects and make a decision in 1-3 weeks after receiving the duly completed application. Our Credit Committee take a professional approach to evaluating each proposition. Company’s background and past performance, project’s feasibility, sound business plan, team’s proficiency, and clear financial and managerial strategy are key factors that we take into consideration in selecting the projects to fund.
1. Application
You fill in the Application Form and upload your Business Plan. In order to assess an application, the Business Plan must include:
- profile of the applicant company (history, legal and organizational structure, business activities)
- market analysis and marketing strategy
- financial tables for the last 3 years (balance sheet, income statement and tax statements), if applicable
- description of the project to be financed
- financial projections for at least 3 upcoming years
2. Initial Analysis
We do our first analysis based on the information you provide in your business plan. We decide to go further with the application or not.
3. Meeting / Company Visit
If our initial analysis turns out to be positive, we schedule a meeting to get to know your company and team better, possibly in a company visit. We discuss your expectations and try to identify your funding needs more precisely. We examine whether you should also benefit from our consulting services.
4. Documents Submission
After the meeting, we may ask for further information and documents in order to better figure out the financial and strategic position of your company. You are supposed to submit all necessary documents duly completed.
5. Non-Binding Term Sheet
The Credit Committee evaluates your application with all details in 1-3 weeks after receiving all the documents and prepares a non-binding term sheet offering our funding solution(s) and conditions. We later send you this offer.
6. Further Discussion and Documentation
We hold further discussions and exchange to reach an agreement on the option(s) and conditions. Once we agreed, we approve the funding, and we prepare the final agreement.
7. Agreement & Terms and Conditions
We send you the Final Agreement and our Terms & Conditions to be duly signed by all related parties.
8. Utilization of Fund
You receive the fund from FINVEST and start utilizing it. You are required to certify that the fund is used only for the specified purpose stipulated in the final agreement.
9. Post-Utilization Management
We monitor major indicators of your financial performance to ensure that (re)payments are made regularly till the agreement period expires. We continue our advisory services if their provision is a part of our agreement. In the meantime, you periodically provide information about the performance of your company.
